• Parents and Students, 

    I am excited to have you in 8th grade English Language Arts! This year we will continue to work on reading and writing skills. Parents, you can help support this goal by encouraging your students to read at least thirty minutes each night. The more they read, they more vocabulary they are introduced to, which will continue to improve those Lexile scores. I am certain that all of you can reach your learning goals for this year, and I am looking forward to guiding you through the proccess!
