• Mr. Wes Black

    ESEP Co-teacher

    North Paulding High School

  • I am very happy to be at North Paulding High School this year.  My first year at NPHS I taught Agriculture Science in the CTAE department with a wonderful group of teachers and administrators, but this year I am returning to teaching exceptional children.  Helping students through the Exceptional Students Education Program is what I enjoy the most, and I look forward to a great year with a new group of students, parents and administrators.  This year I will be co-teaching math classes with Mr. Cash and Mr. Pittman where I hope to be able to use my 20 years of teaching experience to help all the students in our classes succeed.

Before my teaching career, I had a different profession, forest management.  I have worked as a forestry consultant throughout the South East, and for the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce as a member of a first-in-the-nation program to regulate the timber industry in Mississippi.

I have a lot of hobbies including:  motorcycling, restoring vintage motorcycles and machinery, playing the guitar, gardening, hunting and fishing.  In my spare time, I also enjoy spending time with my family, wife, and our many pets.

My home base is in room 1003.  The rooms I co-teach in are:  Mr. Cash- room 1208, and Mr. Pittman- room 906.

If you would like to talk to me, please feel free to track me down, or email me to make an appointment.
