Bus Rider Policy
If a student does not ride their assigned school bus for seven (7) consecutive school days, the student and/or the bus stop may be removed from the route. Parents must contact the Transportation Department to confirm that the student is still assigned to the bus before ridership can resume.

Student Dismissal Policy for Riders Under Age 9
Students under the age of nine (9) with a yellow tag on their bookbag must have a parent or guardian visible to the driver at the assigned bus stop before being released from the bus.
If parent or guardian is not visible from the stop to receive the student, the student will be returned to their assigned school for parent/guardian pick-up
Parents who wish to allow their child to exit the bus without a parent present must complete the required authorization form at their child’s school to receive an orange tag.
