In Facilities Services, it is our mission to ensure safe and well-functioning facilities wherein our students, staff, and community are Engaged, Inspired, and Prepared for success today and tomorrow. Committed to professional and exceptional customer service, the Facilities Services Department focuses on meeting the needs of a growing community through new construction of facilities and renovation and modification of existing facilities, as well as providing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance in a cost-effective manner

 Maintenance Operations

We provide day-to-day facility upkeep to ensure every building remains in peak condition. This includes:         

  • Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Proactive care to extend the life of our systems.
  • Operational Support: Quick-response repairs and emergency maintenance.
  • Efficiency: Delivering services in a cost-effective manner to support daily learning.         

Capital Improvements & Construction 

We focus on the long-term evolution of our district through strategic planning and infrastructure growth. This includes:

  • New Construction: Building modern facilities to accommodate a growing community.
  • Major Renovations: Upgrading and modifying existing spaces to meet modern standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Managing long-term projects and major upgrades to ensure our facilities serve future generations.

Five-Year Facility Plan

The state of Georgia requires school districts to develop a five-year facility plan. The Paulding
County School District's five-year facility plan was developed and approved by our Board Of
Education in April of 2023. Our current five-year facility plan runs from July 1, 2023 through
June 30, 2027.
