PCSD 2026 Special Olympics

For two inspiring days, Paulding County School District proudly hosted Special Olympics events that showcased determination, courage, and heart in action. Guided by the powerful words, “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt,” student-athletes from across the district demonstrated remarkable perseverance, sportsmanship, and positivity that uplifted everyone in attendance. Schools represented on Thursday, April 2 included Allgood, Burnt Hickory, Dugan, Jones Middle, McClure Middle, Nebo, Northside, North Paulding High, Poole, Ragsdale, Russom, Scoggins Middle, Shelton, and South Paulding High. Friday, April 3 welcomed athletes from Abney, Austin Middle, Baggett, Dobbins, East Paulding Middle, East Paulding High, Hiram High, Hiram Elementary, Hutchens, McGarity, Moses Middle, Panter, Paulding County High, Ritch Middle, and Roberts. We extend sincere appreciation to the coaches, volunteers, staff, and supporters whose commitment made these unforgettable experiences possible. We are incredibly proud of every athlete who participated and inspired our community through their courage and determination. #SpecialOlympics #Inclusion #Courage #BeBrave
