Emergency Messaging

We will notify you of a weather delay or closure via phone, text and email. Weather closure/delay information will also be shared on our website, social media, and mobile app, as well as with local media outlets.

If there is an emergency at your child’s school, we will send information to all contacts in our system via phone, text, and email.

When you receive communication (absences, event reminders, general communication, critical communications) from the PCSD School Messenger system, the number displayed will be 678-460-1575. We recommend that you add this number to your phone contact list. 

You must select to receive text messages from our system. Confirm that you have selected to receive text messaging (SMS) for emergency and/or school notifications through Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and click on “More” in the left-hand column. Navigate to “Family Information” and review your contact information. If you see an incorrect phone number or email, please update it in Infinite Campus, or contact the registrar at your child’s school to request an update.
