School System Financial Information

20-14-49 of the Official Code of Georgia requires the aggregation and publication of a variety of financial information for all school districts, such as revenue and expenditure data, capital construction costs, recent audits, and similar reports, centralized into a single website.  The Georgia Department of Education maintains the School System Financial Information portal.

Financial Efficiency Star Rating

The Financial Efficiency Star Rating (FESR) provides a comparison of district spending per student with overall academic performance. The goal of the star rating is to provide a comparison of district spending per student with overall academic performance. The FESR is managed by the Governor's Office of Student Achievement and can be located on its website.
