The Paulding County School District Federal Programs Department is committed to ensuring that every student has equitable access to a high-quality education and the support needed to achieve academic success. Through federal funding and strategic partnerships, our programs provide additional instructional resources, specialized services, and professional learning opportunities that help meet the diverse needs of our students and schools.

Our work is guided by the belief that every child can succeed when schools, families, and the community work together. Federal Programs supports schools by providing resources that strengthen instruction, improve student achievement, and promote meaningful family engagement.

Our department oversees several federally funded initiatives, including:

  • Title I, Part A – Provides additional instructional support and resources to help students meet state academic standards while fostering strong family-school partnerships.
  • Title II, Part A – Supports the recruitment, development, and retention of highly effective educators through high-quality professional learning and leadership development.
  • Title III, Part A (ESOL) – Provides language instruction and academic support for multilingual learners, helping students develop English language proficiency while achieving success in the classroom.
  • Title IV, Part A – Supports well-rounded educational opportunities, safe and healthy learning environments, and the effective use of educational technology.
  • McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Program – Ensures educational stability and support services for students experiencing homelessness.
  • Private School Equitable Services – Coordinates eligible federal services for participating private schools in accordance with federal requirements.

We believe that families are essential partners in education. Our department works closely with parents and caregivers by providing resources, training opportunities, and meaningful ways to engage in their child's educational journey. We encourage families to stay informed, participate in school and district events, and collaborate with educators to support student success.
