The Paulding County School District offers three career-themed academies that provide students with immersive, project-based, real-world experiences aligned with high-demand career fields.  

PCSD Academy Options:

  • Hiram High School Academy of Computer Science,
    Est. 2020
  • Paulding County High School Academy of Science, Research, and Medicine (GA STEM Certified),
    Est. 2012
  • South Paulding High School AIM Academy of Engineering and Technology,
    Est. 2022

Application Timeline:

  • January 23, 2026 – Date Extended to March 8, 2026
    • Window to Submit Applications via the Canvas Course
  • April 13, 2026 12:00 PM
    • Acceptance Letters Sent Out Electronically

Application Information:

  • The Academy process involves completing an application within a Canvas course. 
  • The Canvas course can be accessed from your Clever page during the application window. 
  • For students not currently attending a Paulding County School, please contact the Academy directly for specific application requirements.
  • Each Academy's website provides detailed information about the Academy.
