Thank you for your interest in attending the Paulding Virtual Academy (PVA). PVA is designed for students seeking to acquire their high school diploma in a setting similar to a college experience. Students will take advantage of flexible scheduling, distance learning, independent study, video conferencing, and blended learning classrooms. Students have access to highly qualified state certified instructors. The program is a great option for students wishing to accelerate their learning, graduate early, or participate in dual enrollment. It is also a good fit for homeschooled students, and students who work best outside the traditional school setting. The proper selection of student participants is critical. A good candidate is an independent and motivated learner, persistent, and results driven. Students must have daily access to a working computer, printer and the internet. Successful students have demonstrable basic computer skills such as a knowledge of how to email, utilize word processors, download items, and manipulate the internet. The Paulding Virtual Academy is a Paulding County School District program. Students participating in the program maintain all rights associated with being a PCSD student including eligibility to participate in clubs, athletics, proms and all other activities that occur at their districted school.
Please complete all information within this packet. The next step is to schedule a meeting with your student’s districted school counselor for processing. Thank you for considering Paulding Virtual Academy.
