P.B. Ritch Middle

Welcome to Our Class!

First and foremost, I want to welcome all of you to our class, whether virtual or face-to-face, we will navigate this school year together!  My name is Mrs. Godbout, and I have been teaching at PB Ritch Middle School since 2013.  I actually started out my teaching career as a student teacher at Ritch  and was offered a permanent position at the end of 2014 as a full time "Raven." I hold a B.S. in Middle Grades Education, as well as an M.ED. in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University.  In just a few short weeks, I will be starting my specialist in Educational Leaderhsip.  I believe that we never stop learning, even into adulthood, and I love showing my students the value of becoming a lifelong learner.  My beliefs and  passion for education have led me to the classroom, and my goal is to better prepare your student in becoming a 21st century learner.  

When I am not shaping young minds, I am the mother to 3 beautiful girls.  My twins just graduated this year from North Paulding High School.  While my youngest daughter, is entering the 5th grade at Russom Elementary.  My personal hobbies include: interior design, reading, kickboxing, running, watching and reading anything about history,  and most of all spending time with my family. 

This year will definitley be different for all of us!  As we embark on this journey into uncharted waters, we will all need to be patient and work together.  There will definitly be trying times, as well as good times, but the relationships that we forge will benefit our students' academic careers.  My door is always open, and I am just an email away.  I am looking forward to extending my school family and welcoming you and your child to my class.
