The Curriculum and Instruction Department of the Paulding County School District offers rigorous support, instructional programs of study, and resources. Instructional programs are directly aligned with the Georgia Performance Standards. The goal of the Curriculum and Instruction Department is to support all stakeholders to challenge students to their highest potential.

Curriculum and Instruction Mission Statement

The mission of the Curriculum and Instruction Department for the Paulding County School District is to provide leadership and support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instruction while fostering learning and educational excellence through modeling and support of needs based instruction and monitoring for mastery learning.

Curriculum and Instruction Department will:

Promote and participate in collaboration with all stakeholders to target achievement goals for students, schools, and the district;

Provide instructional support to all schools by modeling best practices;

Support school improvement initiatives for each school and the district as a whole;

Provide direction and support for resources that support classroom instruction;

Facilitate needs based instruction through remediation and enrichment models;

Coordinate curricular activities that support student involvement, exploration to include the arts, technology, and career/technical education.
