Nutrition Career Opportunities

The Paulding County School District offers career opportunities in the School Nutrition Department. Prospective employees must attend a Substitute Orientation meeting (2 hours) scheduled monthly. The meetings are held in the Conference Room located at 522 Hardee Street, Dallas, Ga. 30132. Please refer to the link below for registration information. Pre-registration will be required for all training sessions.

Training session information can be found by following the links below on the Paulding District Page:

You may contact the Nutrition Department for more information at 770/443-8003, Ext. 10154

Applications will be processed and criminal background checks will be conducted. When reference forms, employee application, proof of education and other necessary paperwork has been returned to the Nutrition Department and satisfactorily approved, the applicant will be notified to make an appointment with the personnel department to be fingerprinted. At this time the applicant will also complete an employee paperwork packet. Upon completing 90 clock hours of sub work, the applicant may apply for any School Nutrition opening in our schools where the substitute has temporarily worked. Interviews will be scheduled and conducted with the school nutrition manager and the school training specialist.

All new personnel must be finger printed. There will be a fee of $44.25 for this process to be considered for the substitute employee list.
