Resources for Test Preparation and Reinforcement of Subject Content

All Grade Levels
The Georgia Online Assessment System for CRCT and GHSGT (GAOAS) enables students in Georgia's public schools to access tests that consist of the same kinds of questions as they appear on two of Georgia's end-of-year assessments, the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) and the Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GHSGT). The above link will take you to a webpage on the Georgia Department of Education Website where you will find the link to the GAOAS and the ID and password you will need to access practice tests.
Elementary
CompassLearning - Odyssey® delivers standards aligned PreK-12 curricula through interactive, self-paced, challenging, and engaging activities. Activities promote exploration, individual and cooperative learning, problem solving, reflection, and real-world connections for students in Grades 1-5. Odyssey applies current and confirmed research about how students think and learn. The Paulding County School District utilizes Odyssey to reinforce classroom instruction and to help students prepare for the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests that are administered to students in Grades 1-5 during the spring. Students can access Odyssey from home; for specific information, contact the School Improvement Specialist at your student’s school.
Middle School and High School
Plato® Learning Systems is a self-paced, engaging, and interactive program that reinforces classroom instruction. Plato helps students understand the course standards as a means to help students improve performance on the CRCT and the GHSGT. For more information about Plato Learning Systems contact the Special Education Lead Teacher in your student’s school.
iPass™/iLearn Math® is an instructional program that individualizes teaching in order for the student to achieve mastery. By utilizing sound instructional concepts such as adjusting one-on-one instruction in real time and frequent formative assessment to identify what each student needs to learn, iPass/iLearn Math is designed to reinforce classroom instruction and through a “needs-based” teaching process. Additionally, iPass iLearn Math can be accessed from home; for more information contact the Lead Special Education Teacher at your student’s school.
High School
SAT Online Prep Course - The Georgia Department of Education has made available to all Georgia students, Grades 9-12, the SAT Online Course. This web-based, personalized online course offers students review lessons and quizzes designed by the maker of the SAT exam. An immediate essay scoring feature and 6 full-length SAT tests with immediate scoring and individualized reports for students and teachers are included with the course. USATestprep, Inc. is an online subscription software to help students study, practice, and master the Georgia: GHSGT/EOCT. USATestprep also provides many tools to help teachers, administrators, and parents guide students as they prepare for these difficult assessments.
